Memberships
Three tiers, and a rate that doesn't move.
Fifty people get a Founding rate. It is not a launch discount that quietly expires — it is the price you keep for as long as your membership runs without a break.
Nothing is payable yet. There is no building, no opening date and no charge — not now and not later just to hold a place. You are reserving a rate and a slot in the order, and you choose your tier when we open rather than today.
The tiers
| Tier | Social | Player | Club |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | £39 | £99 | £149 |
| For | Playing now and then | A weekly habit | Twice a week |
| Included sessions | 1 × 60 min | 4 × 60 min | 8 × 60 min |
| Court discount | 10% of your share | 15% of your share | 20% of your share |
| Booking window | 10 days | 14 days | 21 days |
Included sessions are off-peak — weekdays before 5pm. Beyond them you can book as much as you like at the standard rate, less your tier's discount on your own share of the court.
What a session is
One court booking of sixty minutes, off-peak, included in your monthly fee. Padel is doubles, so a court is four people; the session is the court, not a seat in it.
Your included sessions are a floor rather than a ceiling. Book as often as you like beyond them — those courts are charged at the standard rate, and your tier takes its percentage off your own share. If you are playing with three others, they pay their quarter at the standard rate unless they are members too.
We have deliberately not published a standard court price. There is no building yet, and a per-hour figure quoted before the lease is signed is a number we might have to take back. The discounts above are percentages precisely so they survive that.
What the Founding rate actually locks in
The price
Standard membership prices rise, usually every year, and their terms can change on notice. A Founding rate does neither. Whatever tier you choose at opening, that tier's Founding price is yours for as long as you stay a member.
For as long as it runs without a break
This is the one condition and it is worth being blunt about: if your membership lapses, the Founding rate ends. Rejoining later means rejoining at whatever the standard price is then. It is not a discount attached to you permanently; it is attached to an unbroken membership.
Fifty places, and no fifty-first
Not fifty for now. Fifty, full stop. They are held in the order names are reserved, which is the only reason reserving today is worth anything over reserving in March.
One transfer
A Founding place can be passed once, to one named person, and only before we open. After that it is yours.
Guests
Bringing someone who is not a member: their first visit is on the house. After that there is a flat fee per visit, up to twice a month. The intention is that you can introduce people to the sport without it becoming a second membership by stealth.
Choosing a tier
You do not have to, yet — tier selection happens at opening and you can change your mind freely between now and then. The form asks which you would likely take because the answers shape how many courts get booked out to members and how many stay open for casual play.
If it helps:
- Social, £39 — you will play occasionally and want the rate and the booking window more than the sessions.
- Player, £99 — one game most weeks. This is the shape most padel habits settle into.
- Club, £149 — twice a week, and you want the longest booking window because peak courts in London go days in advance.
What isn't decided yet
Being straight about this is more useful than a confident guess:
- Where. No lease is signed. The postcodes people give when they reserve are a real input into that decision, not a marketing field.
- When. No opening date, because it depends on the building.
- The standard court rate, for the same reason.
- Peak pricing, junior and off-peak-only variants. All likely, none settled.
Everything on this page that is settled — the three prices, the included sessions, the discounts, the booking windows and the Founding conditions — is settled, and reserving holds you to none of it.
Common questions
What's a session?
One off-peak court booking of 60 minutes, included in your monthly fee. Off-peak means weekdays before 5pm. You can book as much as you like beyond your included sessions — those are charged at the standard rate, less your tier's discount on your own share of the court.
Do I pay anything now, or ever, just to hold my place?
No. Reserving is free, and nothing's charged later just to keep your place either.
Can I change my tier before opening?
Yes. You choose which one you're on when we open, not now.
If my membership lapses, what happens to my Founding rate?
It ends. It only holds for as long as your membership runs without a break.
Can someone else take my Founding place?
Once, to one named person, and only before we open.
Can I bring someone to play who isn't a member?
Their first visit's on the house. After that, a flat fee per visit, up to twice a month.
Fifty Founding places, free to reserve.
